Peer to peer
Round table is a a meeting of peers for discussion and exchange of views in an informal setting. To stress the equal rights of all participants the setting is “round”. In other words, there is no “primus inter pares”.
It suits small groups, up to 10 people, that want to give and receive feedback and engage in detailed discussions about a specific topic. The topic is chosen beforehand and all participants should share an interest in the topic.
Because of the free format, there is a chance that the outcome is open-ended. Therefore, it would be good to end the round table with shared conclusions and actions.
